| Jackson Highway 88 Corridor Improvement Alternatives Analysis

| The purpose of this project is to analyze alternatives and develop preliminary plans to increase capacity on State Highway 88 through or around the City of Jackson. The project will include preliminary mapping and preliminary analysis of several possible Highway 88 bypass alternatives, as well as an alternative to widen existing Highway 88 through the City of Jackson. Public involvement will be a critical component of the project. Completion anticipated May 2005. |

| Transit Development Plan Addendum
|
| The purpose of this project is to prepare an addendum to the recently completed 2003 Amador County Transit Development Plan. This addendum would include a specific plan for implementation of a subsidized taxi service for the elderly and disabled community during weekends and evenings when Amador Regional Transit System (ARTS) buses are not operating. |
